TeamTalk Terms of Use

Terms of Use

Last updated: 11 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and TeamTalk for use of the TeamTalk app and service. Please read them; using TeamTalk means you accept them.

1. Agreement

By creating a TeamTalk session, signing in, or using the app in any way, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use TeamTalk.

2. Who can use TeamTalk

TeamTalk is invite-only. There is no public sign-up: an account exists only because the owner of a team created one for your phone number. You may use TeamTalk only with an account that was issued to you, and only for the team it belongs to.

You must be at least 16 years old. TeamTalk is intended for work use within an organisation, not for the general public.

3. Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account. In particular:

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use TeamTalk to:

5. Your content

Your messages and files remain yours. We do not claim ownership of them.

You grant us the limited permission we need to actually run the service: to store your content, transmit it to the other members of your team, generate previews and thumbnails from it, and hold backups of it. That permission exists only to operate TeamTalk for you, and ends when the content is deleted.

You are responsible for the content you send and for having the right to send it.

6. How teams work

TeamTalk is a shared workspace, not private storage. You should use it on the understanding that:

7. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep TeamTalk running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and may take the service offline for maintenance. Where a change is significant and we can foresee it, we will give notice in the app.

8. Suspension and termination

Your team owner can remove your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to TeamTalk, in whole or in part, if these terms are broken, if it is necessary to protect the service or its users, or if required by law.

You can stop using TeamTalk at any time and ask us to delete your account — see Your choices and your rights in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer

TeamTalk is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, or that messages will always be delivered.

Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Do not use TeamTalk for information that requires that level of protection.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of TeamTalk.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and announce significant changes in the app. Continuing to use TeamTalk after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of TeamTalk will be subject to the courts of the Kingdom of Cambodia. This does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
